| Table tennis and chinese soc both ended on a high note this year. Girls got champion for tt -- duh, as usual -- unfortunately guys lost by a close margin to NJ. However, it was an excellent attempt already; the fact that we all made it to the finals is a major achievement and proves our worth already :) As for chinese soc, I can safely say that most were impressed by our performance this year, and we managed to sell 75% of our tickets! (As compared to the pathetic 40% last year.......heh) Well, even I was pretty impressed, so that pretty much says that it was successful, coz I'm a hard person to please. Much as I am happy that my CCAs are finally over and I have more free time on my hands, I can't help but feel a little empty inside. I know that I won't be seeing the people I have grown accustomed to meeting every mon , wed, fri. I won't be involved in drama or anything related to it for at least 1.5 years, considering university will only start in september next year... Sigh. I sure miss the days tt sat together for meals. And also the mad rush before the actual performance at pac....not to mention the freezing weather during those days. If I didn't have a jacket with me, I would probably be an icicle now. The "nightmares" about walkie talkies and curtains opening...well those disturbed my sleep, but I do miss them. All I have now are memories...pleasant, and unpleasant ones. I hope that by the time I am 80, I will still be able to remember all these. They made a difference in my life...not a small one too. |
