Yay. Valentine's Day! Awesome day for couples and friends alike. The moment I stepped into school, LY came running with a big bunch of sweets somehow contained in a huge plastic thingy with a silly pumpkin head drawn on it. And being the sweet girl she always is (well....um...), she offered some to me! Unfortunately, there are too little scandals in the class to render the rest of the day eventful. But anyway, it's a happy day, and the start of Friendship Week (sweet). Sadly, I twisted my ankle during PE today and had to miss training. What a start for friendship week....sigh. Still a bit swollen now.... And yup, about being a philosopher...I was watching shao nian ying xiong huang fei hong yesterday, and took extra notice of what huang fei hong's master in shaolin said to him. I can't be bothered to translate being as lazy as I am, so here's it in hanyu pinyin: fan2 shi4 dou1 yao4 bao4 zhe yi1 ke1 ping2 chang2 xin1, bu yao4 zai4 hu1 de2 shi1, zhi2 qiu2 jin4 li4 er2 wei2. That's philosophy for you. It's awesome if I could fully comprehend the meaning behind this seemingly simple sentence...and seriously, put it into practice. I mean, I think I have been emphasizing too much on results, and sometimes get a bit too ambitious, ending up in disappointment when the results are unsatisfactory. Maybe all the stuff about feeling inferior should stop. Do your best, and no one has the right to criticize you whatever the result. Haha. That's what I told my darling chen li, vic and cpf in the lift today....trying to enlighten people...lolololol but wasn't very successful. Still, hope everyone mugs hard without caring so much about the end result!!!..including lazy o' me. Heh.
